Briana Raterman

Briana is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Society of Pain Management Nursing (ASPMN) . She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Central Methodist University, and graduated with her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

At an early age, Briana found a love for the sciences and a passion to care for everyone. In 2008, she brought that passion to the medical field and began her journey to become the provider she is today.

Throughout her medical career, Briana understood that caring for an individual exceeded a specific diagnosis(es). She recognized the fact that many other factors contribute to what the patient experiences. She also found a desire to help manage pain through techniques such as physical, cognitive behavioral, and pain therapy, bracing, heat, ice, TENS, and pharmacologic.

Briana believes a trusting and strong patient-provider relationship is key in her practice and is focused on optimizing individuals' pain management care through the use of evidence-based practice and education about interventional pain management treatment options that this institute offers.

Her special interests include complex pain syndromes, neuropathic pain, spinal stenosis, joint pain, and chronic pelvic pain.
